    Africastyles measurement chart

It is quite easy to determine what size clothing to order. Note, however, the following:

African clothing, in general are designed to fit quite loosely and for maximum comfort. Unlike European designs that hug the body, African designs accentuate the natural beauty. By a judicious use of fabric and roomy designs, the clothes provide room for air circulation.

Because of these design approach, African size-charts do not directly translate into European charts. For example, our Medium size corresponds to sizes 10 to 12. And so on.
Use the chart below as a sizing guide by selecting the range that closely matches your your measurements. Bear in mind that African Fashions are meant to fit loose, therefore, the lower number will give you a better fit.

    How to make measurements

Bust/Chest: Measure around fullest part of bust or chest, with measuring tape under the arms and around shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure under clothing around your natural waistline.
Hips: Measure hip size around the fullest part of your hips, below waistline.
Inseam: Use a pair of pants that fit well in length and measure the pants from the crotch to the hem of the leg.
Neck: Measure around the neck as close to the shoulder as possible. Sticking two fingers inside the tape will ensure enough ease for proper fitting.
Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder blade over the elbow to the wrist with the arm stretched forward.
